Time capsule: Residents are invited to write what they think Farmington will be like in 25 years to be included in the city's centennial time capsule. Along with a written thought, residents are invited to submit pictures of friends or relatives.
Deadline: Submit no later than July 1, 1992, to city offices.

Budget: The City Council is considering a $4,764,526 general fund budget for the 1992-93 fiscal year, up 8.93 percent from the current year's budget. To increase revenues and avoid shortfalls in the new budget, the council is planning to increase the franchise tax on telephone, electricity and natural gas and city tax on water use.
