An employee of the Taco Bell restaurant at 1649 W. 9000 South was making a deposit at a nearby bank early Tuesday when he was robbed by a man with a gun.

Detective Vern Peterson said it looked as though the robber had been hiding in the bushes for some time before the restaurant employee approached the bank to make a night deposit at 2 a.m.
