Approximately 25 percent of 269 people surveyed by psychologists at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, claim they never need an alarm to pop out of bed at the right time. They simply set their minds on a certain hour and awaken on time. These folks usually are older and sleep the same number of hours each night, psychology professor Bill Moorcroft explained.Another 29 percent told the researchers they set their alarm clocks but always wake up just before they go off. And 25 percent said they set their clocks but awaken sometimes before that annoying ring.
