Location: located at northern tip of state. Can be reached by taking highway 89 east from Logan, or I-80 to Evanston, Wyo., then highway 16 to Sage Creek Junction and highway 30 to lake.

Features: 71,000 surface acre freshwater lake that is ideal for boating, sailing, waterskiing, swimming, off-highway vehicle riding and year-round fishing.

Facilities: 3 state-owned facilities...Marina located 2 miles north of Garden City. has sheltered harbor, boat ramp, 176 seasonal boat slips marina sanitary disposal station, 15 shorline campsites, modern rest rooms, hot showers and visitors center...Rendezvous Beach near Laketown has 1 1/4 miles beach area with 138 campsites, group camping areas, modern rest rooms hot showers and utility hookups...and East Side, located 10 miles north of Lake Laketown Offers primitive camping and vault toilets.

Fees: $3 day use, $5 to $13 for camping.

Elevation: 5,900 feet.

Park Events: Sept. 17-20 is Mountain man Rendezvous.

Nearby: Several small towns along shoreline. To the west are forested mountains for hiking, camping and Beaver Mountain Ski Area. Two golf course in area.
