Leonard Ray "Ole" Ogden, 81, of Richfield, died June 10, 1992, Richfield Care Center.
Born June 18, 1910 in Richfield, Utah to Leonard W. and Almina Chidister Ogden. Married Helen Bernice Williams, July 6, 1939, Marysvale, Utah. They celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1989. Ole was a hard worker all of his life. During the days of the depression he hauled coal, layed cement, worked as a builder, mechanic, farm laborer, and at the Beaver Power Plant, and had been a licensed electrician in California. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Sevier County for 30 years. Ole loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, his garden and helping his neighbors.Survived by his wife, Bernice, Richfield; four daughters and their husbands, Judy and Bob Usrey, Sacramento, Calif; Verna Dean and Bill Ashton, Tremonton; Barbara and Randy Jones, Huntington; Beverly and Mike Mann, West Valley City; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers and sister, Grace Labaron, Salem; Foy Ogden and Verl Ogden, both of Richfield. Preceded in death by son, Boyd Ray Ogden, grandson, Clynn K. Jones, and parents.
Funeral services Saturday, June 13, 4 p.m., Richfield 8th LDS Ward Chapel, 200 East Center. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Friday evening 7-9 p.m. and again Saturday from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Burial: Richfield City Cemetery.
