Ken Takeno, 77, passed away June 11, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born September 27, 1914 in Fresno, California, to Gijiro and Ai Yamaka Takeno. He married "Francs" Misako Nakai, September 29, 1940, in Los Angles, California. He was the owner-operator of a dry cleaning shop called The Town Shop. He was the manager for 23 years for the Ritz Bowling Lanes.He was a 6th Dan in Kendo.

He is survived by his wife, Frances, Salt Lake City; son, Bruce and wife, Juanita, Sandy; daughter, Judy Tegan, Eltoro, Calif.; six grandchildren; brothers, Roy and wife, Sumi, George and wife, Grace, all Denver, Colo.; sisters-in-law, Evelyn and husband, Joe Itano, Pasedana, Calif.; Yoshiko Nakai and niece Lily and husband, John Havey, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 14, 1992, 3 p.m., at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd.) where friends may call one hour prior to services.

Interment: Mountain View Memorial Estates.
