Rose Cox Thygerson was born in Ferron, Utah, on April 4, 1918, and passed away June 10, 1992 at Utah Valley Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Hurst Thygerson, Orem; daughters, Judy Cannon, Walnut Creek, Calif.; and Maria Smith Moore, Salt Lake City; son, Ivan, Salt Lake City; sister Velma Petersen, Ferron; brother Paul Cox, Pocatello, Idaho; grandchildren, Frank, Bryan, Rosalie, Amanda and Jacob.During her long life she was active in the LDS Church. She married her eternal companion in the Manti LDS Temple and served a mission in Fort Lauderdale Florida.

She achieved a successful career in accounting and business and served three years in Ferron City government. She enjoyed ceramics, fishing the mountains and deserts of Utah.

A Viewing will be held at 9:45 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 13, in the Sharon 1st Ward Chapel, 600 So. 400 East, Orem. Graveside services and burial, Ferron City Cemetery, 3 p.m. under direction of Sundberg-Olpin
