If you've been longing to get into the movies, here's your chance. An open casting call is out for extras to be featured in "Sandlot," a new film that will begin principal photography June 22 in various Salt Lake locations.
People of all ages and types are being sought. The call is scheduled Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Nibley Elementary School, 2785 S. 800 East, in Salt Lake City. You will need a recent photograph (that the casting directors can keep) and wardrobe measurements.The casting directors are also seeking information on cars, trucks and motorcycles from 1958-1962. Do not bring in a vehicle, but photographs are welcome.
