Leslie Norris, a professor of creative writing at BYU, will address the Monday, June 15, meeting of Provo's Browning Society.

Norris, author of several books including poetry collections, will speak on "Men and Women Development in Browning Characters." Norris, who was born in Wales, also contributes to the "Atlantic Monthly" and "The New Yorker" and is currently at work on a long autobiographical poem.Also during the program, which starts at 1:30 at the Women's Council building, 310 W. 500 North, the Madsen Memorial Chorus will present several Browning selections set to music, including "How Do I Love Thee?" and "The Years at the Spring."

Christen Jensen organized the society, which annually commemorates the works of Robert and Elizabeth Barrett Browning, in 1923. The 1992 meeting is open to the public.
