A six-show season, with a seventh production as a "bonus," has been announced for 1992-93 by the Pages Lane Theater in Centerville.
The season includes three popular musicals, two well-known comedies and a new sequel to "Papa Married a Mormon."The lineup includes:
- BAREFOOT IN THE PARK, Oct. 16-Nov. 21, one of Neil Simon's early comedies, directed by Bob Walkingshaw.
- SCROOGE, Nov. 27-Dec. 23, a bonus production, not part of the theater's season package. Ralph Rodgers Jr. will play the title role.
- MAMA'S BOARDING HOUSE, Dec. 31-Feb. 20, a sequel to "Papa Married a Mormon," being developed by Norm Morris and Ralph Rodgers. All of the original characters will be back.
- SOUTH PACIFIC, Feb. 12-April 3, the Rodgers & Hammerstein hit.
- YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU, April 9-May 15, a comedy classic.
- SHENANDOAH, May 21-July 10, the award-winning musical based on the James Stewart film.
- THE MUSIC MAN, Aug. 2-Oct. 9, one of the most popular shows ever written for the American musical-theater stage.
