Rick Bowness, the former Salt Lake Golden Eagles player who was fired a week ago as coach of the Boston Bruins, reportedly will be named head coach of the expansion Ottawa Senators today.

The Canadian Press reported that an unidentified source confirmed reports in the Ottawa Sun and Citizen newspapers that the former Bruins coach will be formally introduced as the team's first coach at a news conference this morning.
