Edith Draper Owen Wilcox, age 93, died June 13, 1992 in Mt. Vernon, Washington at the home of her daughter.

She was born July 16, 1898 in Kaysville, to George H. and Eliza Alice West Draper. She married Royal C. Owen, January 3, 1923 in the Logan LDS Temple, he died April 10, 1967. She married Emery Wilcox on July 23, 1971, he died July 23, 1982. She loved her church and family very dearly and unselfishly used her talents to help others. She was a pianist and organist for many choirs and musical groups, and either sang with or accompanied them until her declining years. She was a superb quilter and her beautiful quilts adorned many beds.Survived by two sons and one daughter, Melvel C. and Virginia Owen, Bountiful; David V. and Lou Jean Owen, Indianapolis, Indiana; Mrs.

Ernest (Margaret) Brown, Mt. Vernon, Washington. She was preceded in death by one daughter Mrs. Delbert (Ada) Hadfield; 17 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at the Lindquist Layton Mortuary 1074 No. Fairfield Rd.; friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday 10-10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment Kaysville City Cemetery.
