Halbert Jesse Keller, 75, of Manti, died June 15, 1992 at the Utah Valley Medical Center, complications of open heart surgery.
Born December 14, 1916 to Jesse Jacob and Vera Hougaard Keller in Manti, Utah. He graduated from Manti High School, Snow College and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Brigham Young University. He married Sylvia Esma Baker in Sydney, Australia; later divorced. Married Jean Anderson Conner in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, July 3, 1963. Served a mission for the LDS Church and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Marine Air Corp.Survived by wife; four sons, Brett and Rick, both Salt Lake City; Kevin and Klint, both St. George; two daughters, Mrs. Kevin (Lauren) Hunt, Stansbury Park, Utah; Mrs. Michael (Robin) Lami, Sandy; three step-children, Mrs. Jack (Leslie) Madsen, Manti; Kim Conner, St. George; Kyle Conner, Idaho Falls, Idaho; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. C. Verl (Vivian) Clark, Provo.
Funeral services Friday, June 19, in the Manti First LDS Ward Chapel, at 1:30 p.m. Friends call at the chapel two hours prior to services.
Interment: Manti City Cemetery.
