Daniela Bertram of Germany and Sandi Cross of Oakdale, Calif., take a break after a busy day in Zion National Park. The girls are part of the many bus tours traveling through the park this summer. Temperatures will reach the 90s in that area and the 80s in northern Utah by the weekend. While thundershowers could develop, mainly in the mountains, Thursday or Friday, weather should be much drier through the rest of the week. Three to 4 inches of snow fell in the mountains Tuesday. A funnel cloud was spotted southwest of Hill Air Force Base. Light to heavy rain fell in many areas, with Kearns reporting 0.65 inches. Draper received 0.48; Stansbury Park and Levan, 0.42; and Provo, 0.15.
