Zions First National Bank employees are engaged in a weeklong "paint-a-thon," painting homes of needy people in communities across the state. The 800 volunteers will finish painting 20 houses on Saturday, June 20.
The crews will repair, scrape, sand and prepare houses for painting until Saturday. Houses chosen for the project fall within guidelines established by their communities."This project is a hands-on program for Zions employees to aid some of the state's needy families," said Harris H. Simmons, president and chief executive officer of Zions Bank. "Getting away from our offices occasionally and helping to spruce up these homes serves as a reminder to all of our employees and managers of our commitment to our neighborhoods, financially and otherwise, all year long."
Last year the employees provided the manpower to paint 12 houses.
