Five Utahns have been named to the board of trustees of Intermountain Health Care and will serve as unpaid volunteer trustees of the non-profit health-care organization.

Craig L. Booth, Irene S. Fisher, Paul T. Kunz, Kent F. Richards and Dwan J. Young join the board, comprised of community leaders from the Intermountain West.Booth is a general practice physician with a private practice in St. George and has been the medical director at Dixie Regional Medical Center since 1987. Fisher is director of the Lowell Bennion Community Service Center at the University of Utah and founder of the Utah Children organization.

Kunz is a partner in a private law firm and chairman of the McKay-Dee Hospital Medical Center governing board.

Richards is a general surgeon with a private practice at the Bryner Clinic and an assistant professor with the University of Utah department of surgery.

Young is chairman of Primary Children's Medical Center's governing board and was a member of the University of Utah alumni board.
