Police and the FBI are tracking a malodorous bank robber dubbed "Mr. Stinky" and they say he doesn't need a weapon to overpower his victims.

The suspect, also known as "the B.O. Bandit," struck Wednesday at a Glendale Federal Bank branch in Fort Lauderdale, making off with about $1,100. It was the 10th bank robbery attributed to the reeking robber since May 15."He claims he has a weapon but he has not produced a weapon," said FBI spokesman Paul Miller.

Nonetheless, Miller said, "The tellers are anxious to get away from him."

Tellers and witnesses describe him as a stringy-haired and unshaven white man in his 30s, generally clad in dirty clothes.
