A West Valley man who pleaded guilty to aggravated child sexual abuse will undergo a 90-day diagnostic evaluation before sentencing, a judge has ruled.
Ben Earl Nuttall, once hailed as a "citizen hero" for chasing down a robber, appeared Monday before 3rd District Judge Anne Stirba.Nuttall, 56, was accused of abusing a 9-year-old boy and two girls, ages 8 and 11, in his West Valley home in August 1990.
He pleaded guilty May 6 in a plea arrangement in which nine felony charges were reduced.
