Miss Provo Pageant, 7 p.m., Timpview High School, Tickets: families $14, individuals $4 and senior citizens $3.
June 27
Children's Parade, 10 a.m., beginning at 100 E. Center, to Memorial Park, 800 E. Center. Open to children of all ages. For information, call 226-0597.
Golf Tournament, 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., East Bay Golf Course. Two-person-team entry fee is $70. For more information, call 379-6612 or 225-2704.
June 27-30
Concert Series, 7:30 p.m., Provo LDS Tabernacle. Each night will feature a different concert. Admission is free.
June 29-July 4
Firecracker Softball Tournament, Provo Softball Complex, 1150 S. 1260 West. Team registration will be accepted until June 22. USSSA-registered teams pay $150, non-registered teams pay $170. For information, call Dale Robinson, 379-6600.
June 30
Carillon Concert, 6 p.m., BYU Carillon Tower. Admission is free.

Old Timers' Baseball, 6 p.m. BYU Cougar Field. Former professional and college players with local ties will face a team of American Legion all-stars. Free.

Downtown Arts Fair, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except ending at 5 p.m. on July 4, Utah County Complex and Tabernacle Park. Performing arts, visual arts, children's art contest, children's art yard and food.
Balloon Fest, 6 a.m., Freedom Field, 200 W. 1200 North, Provo. More than 30 entries piloted by balloonists from throughout the West.
July 3
Picnic in the Park, noon to dark, Utah Lake State Park. Admission is $3 per car, walk-ins free. Activities include children's games, stage entertainment and food booths.
Awards Gala and Mayor's Ball, 6:30 p.m., BYU Wilkinson Center Ballroom. Honorees include Sen. Jake Garn, R-Utah. Entertainment by Gordon Harkness. Tickets are $25 per person by reservation. For information, call Kathie Hatch, 379-6100.
July 3 and 4
Youth Dance, 9 p.m., The Palace, 501 N. 900 East, Provo. Fourteen to 18-year-olds. Admission before 10 p.m. is $2; after 10 p.m. $4.
July 4
Grand Parade, 9 a.m., begins at 900 East and 700 North, proceeds to Center Street, then west to University Avenue and north to 1050 North.
Alan Osmond's Stadium of Fire, 8 p.m. Cougar Stadium. Entertainment includes the Beach Boys and the Osmonds, Second Generation. Fireworks follow the concert. Admission is $19, $15, $12 and $9. For information, call 378-2981.
Freedom Run, 7:30 a.m. Ten-kilometer run starts at northeast end of BYU Cougar Stadium; one-mile fun run begins at corner of University Avenue and 700 North. Pre-registration by July 1 is $10 and $7, respectively. Race-day registration is $12 and $9. Contact Provo Economic Development Office, 379-6160, for registration forms.
July 5
Patriotic Service, 7:30 p.m., BYU Marriott Center. Featured speaker is Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Council of the Twelve, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Musicians and singers from Provo's high schools will perform.
