Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, Reginald "Reg" Howard Poole, returned to his Heavenly Father June 16, 1992 at home with his family at his side.

He will always be remembered by those who loved him for his unselfish and loving ways, and his love for the mountains and fishing.Born January 21, 1929 in Salt Lake City to Edwin and Emily Skinner Poole. Married Bertha Lancaster May 17, 1928; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He retired from the Utah State Dept. of Transportation after 25 years of service. Active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions. He served in the Auxiliary Military Police, U.S. Army, 1942-44.

Survived by wife and sweetheart of 64 years; daughters and son, Leola (Ray) Hegwer, Spokane, Wash.; Linda (Rod) Hulsc; Sally (Brent) Collings, both Magna; Kent (Joan) Poole; and Vickie (Dennis) Hamm, Salt Lake City; 18 grandchildren and spouses; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother, Margaret O'Brien; Robert Poole; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two sons, one granddaughter; nine brothers and sisters.

Special thanks to his special nurse, Earlene, and Dr. Peter Sunwall, Dr. Patricia Legant, and Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12:00 noon, in the Murray 12th Ward, 363 East Vine Street. Friends call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Saturday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m.

Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
