Ines Maud Evans Doxey, died June 17, 1992 at her home in West Valley City.
Born October 1, 1900 in Hunter, Utah, a daughter of Thomas J. and Maud Wolstenholme Evans. Married Lawrence W. Doxey June 3, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Ines was active in community and LDS Church, serving in the Relief Society, Sunday School, MIA (Golden Gleaner Award), choir. Set apart as a Salt Lake LDS Temple worker. Hunter DUP camp. Millinery, Registered Nurse. One of the first Pink Lady Volunteers, known for her service to everyone. She decorated for other wedding receptions, textile painting, quilted and hand sewn articles of clothing.Survived by her husband; three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Donald (Yvonne) Hess, Magna; Mrs. Robert (Maryann) Farnsworth, West Valley City; Mrs. David (Kareen) Harkness, Sandy; Evans T. (Marlene) Doxey, West Valley City; Lawry E. (Bonnie) Doxey, Aurora, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Rawlin J. Evans and wife Norma; Reta E. Day; Beth Fonger and husband Fred; many nieces, nephews and cousins in West Valley City. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Muriel; brothers, Levi G. Evans; Edgar T. Evans.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 19,
11 a.m. at Hunter 1st LDS Ward Chapel, 3665 So. 6000 West. Friends may call Thursday, from 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 So. Redwood Road; and Friday one hour prior at the church. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
