Viliami Faingata'a Vailea, a beloved father and grandfather who was born August 17, 1905 at Futu, Niuafo'ou, Tonga to Langakali Vailea and 'Amelia Leha Nganga, passed away peacefully, early morning, June 17, 1992.

He married 'Ana Molia Latu of Matahau, Tongatapu, Tonga June 20, 1957 at Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga. Viliami Vailea was a High Priest at the Liberty 3rd Ward of the Salt Lake Liberty Stake and was serving as a stake missionary at the time of his death.He will be missed by his wife, 'Ana Molia Latu, and children:; Viliami Palatakeila of Matahau, Tongatapu, Tonga; Silia Takui of Australia;

Meleane Fehoko Tatu of Kolomotu'a, Tongatapu, Tonga; 'Aisea Moala of Haveluloto, Tongatapu, Tonga; Manusiu 'i Pangai of Matangiake, Liahona, Tonga; Tolipeafoki of Matahau, Tongatapu, Tonga; Lesieli Katokakala of Tokomololo, Tongatapu, Tonga; Uinisilina Haitelenisia of Matangiake, Liahona, Tonga; stepchildren, Tikoni Fonua, Salt Lake City; Siosiua Fonua of Matahau, Tongatapu, Tonga; and 'Otufanga Fa'u of Mu'a, 'Eua, Tonga.

Friends and relatives are invited to a public viewing Friday, June 19, 7-10 p.m. and a funeral service, 10 a.m., Saturday, June 20, at Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, Salt Lake City. Interment, Salt Lake Cemetery, 4th Ave and N Street. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
