A Capitol Hill man remained in critical condition Monday with injuries he suffered during a fire Thursday in his Salt Lake apartment.

Michael Phillip Harris, 39, suffered smoke inhalation and burns over 6 percent of his body during the blaze. Salt Lake firefighters pulled him from his burning apartment just before midnight. He apparently was asleep in the bedroom of his apartment at 701 N. 300 West when the blaze broke out.Harris was in critical condition in the University Hospital's Intermountain Burn Center, a spokesman said.
