No, the Utah Summer Games aren't exactly the Olympics, but maybe somebody you know will win a medal.IT WAS TRUE: Well, what KSL told us about its new Saturday morning newscast was true - it does provide an alternative to all those cartoons.
And Ch. 5 has done a nice job putting the broadcast together. It's informative, breezy, and what better time than Saturday morning to go crazy on the weather forecasting? Ruth Todd was also a great choice for anchor.
Not only that, but even KSL was surprised at the response. According to news director Lee Roderick, the station has received many more calls praising the newscast than complaining about the loss of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."
