Pleasant Grove police arrested a 26-year-old Brigham City man early Tuesday after allegations that he stabbed another man in the parking lot of a Lindon bar.

Pleasant Grove Police Detective Jim Taufer said two parties at the Frontier Bar, 600 S. 850 West, began arguing after a woman from each party bumped into each other. Two men left the bar at about 1 a.m. and continued the argument in the parking lot. One man pulled a knife on the other and began slashing him with the knife, Taufer said.David J. Cox, 23, American Fork, was transported to American Fork Hospital with stab wounds. He was treated and released Tuesday morning.

Police are not releasing the suspect's name until formal charges are filed.
