SLEEPOVER RAISES MONEY

SHARE SLEEPOVER RAISES MONEY

Provo High School students Melissa Christensen, Rachel Evans and Heidi Hodges know how to throw a party. And how to make a party count toward a serious objective.

The three, concerned with the growing problem of illiteracy, organized a sleep-and-read-a-thon forelementary school students in their area. They solicited goodies and breakfast items from local food stores. When the sleepover was over, the girls collected $482 to support Project Read, a local anti-literacy effort.
