Rudolph Teancum "Chuck" Taylor, our beloved father, grandfather and brother, age 90, died June 27, 1992 in Vernal, Utah.
He was born May 30, 1902 in Vernal, Utah, a son of Charles R. and Christine Hoehne Taylor. He married Pearlis Nielsen, Dec. 14, 1927 in Vernal; marriage was solemnized June 6, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died in 1985. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, Lapoint Ward. He served an indian mission in Whiterocks; served in the Sunday School, Elder's Quorum president and home teacher. He was a farmer, rancher and the world's best irrigator. He loved to garden, hunt, fish and go camping. He was a hard worker and loved his family very much. He made friends wherever he went and was well known at both the Roosevelt and Vernal Senior Citizen Centers.He is preceded in death by his wife; a daughter Iris; a brother, Art and two great-grandsons.
Survived by his son, Lyle and wife Vee Taylor, Vernal; daughters, Mrs. Duane (Myrna) Richens, Sandy; Mrs. Clyde (Irene) Collins, Roosevelt; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brothers, Lloyd, Vernal; Harvey, Lapoint.
Funeral services will be held July 1, 1992,
11 a.m. at the Lapoint Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary, 15 East 100 North, Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church.
