Linus V. Openshaw, age 93, passed away June 4, 1992, from congestive heart failure.
Born October 29, 1898 in Santaquin, Utah. He married Josephine Olsen, August 6, 1924, in Provo, Utah. Their marriage was later solemmized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the Naples 1st Ward and was active in the LDS Church, where he held many positions. He was preceded in death by his wife and one son, Kermit.Survived by a son, Vard and Deon Openshaw; daughters, Toni and Glen Reynolds; Chris and Stan Anderson; Joy and Lanny Kay, all of Vernal, Utah; Betty and Bob VanWychen, Rock Island, Illinois; 16 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Keith Openshaw, Sandy, Utah.
Funeral services Monday, June 8, 11 a.m., Naples 1st Ward Chapel, 2313 So. 1500 East, Naples. Friends may call at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary, Sunday evening 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial: Vernal Memorial Park.
