Among other actions in its June 4 meeting, the City Council:
- Accepted a check for $100 from the Layton Veterans of Foreign Wars post to go toward restoration of a veterans plaque in the city's veterans park.- Held a public hearing on rezoning Hill Villa (east of Main Street, between the car dealers area and I-15) and approved a rezone from commercial to residential. Residents had petitioned the council for the rezone, citing their residential insurance rate problems.
- Approved the final budget for 1992-93.
- Approved amendments to the current 1991-92 fiscal budget.
- Tabled preliminary approval for Craig Wilson subdivision, three lots on 13 acres, near Dawson Hollow.
- Approved Shadowing Oaks subdivision, phase 2 final, two lots, near Antelope Drive and Rollings Hills subdivision.
- Approved North Hills subdivision, phase 3, for new agreements with Economy Builders.
- Granted final approval to Mullholland subdivision, three lots, west of the North Layton LDS Stake Center.
