Two Czechoslovaks have been jailed for 12 years and a third for eight years for stealing four paintings by Pablo Picasso worth an estimated $30 million from the national gallery.

The paintings, on exhibition at the gallery alongside Prague Castle, were stolen last May and recovered in Germany six weeks later. The works were "Absinthe and Playing Card," "Mandolin and Glass of Pernod," "Table with Goblet" and "Port of Cadaques."
