If elected to Congress, Craig Moody would co-sponsor the Michel Resolution, which would subject Congress to the same laws it has imposed on the public sector, including the Freedom of Information Act, the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Moody, a Republican and current speaker of the Utah House, said of the proposal named after its sponsor, House Republican Leader Robert Michel, R-Ill.:"Business-as-usual is not good enough anymore in Congress. The new people going back to Washington have to be willing to stand up and make a difference, so that government serves people again."
