Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and dear friend, Julia Palmer Hill Brantley, age 90, passed away June 7, 1992, in Holy Cross Hospital, Salt Lake City, Utah. A member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Topeka, Kansas.

Born September 16, 1901, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to John Jackson and Susie Palmer. Married James Hudson Hill December 9, 1917, in Hosston, Louisiana; divorced. Married Arthur Brantley, 1950. Preceded in death by husband, one daughter.Survived by: Two daughters and one son, Rosetta M. Martin, Topeka, Kansas; Alberta and husband, Harold Henry, Salt Lake City; David and wife, Wanda Hill, Pomona, Calif.; seven grandchildren; David Hill, Jr., Topeka, Kansas; Marion Craddock Chinonge, Topeka, Kansas; Cynthia Bates West, Corina, Calif.; James H. Hill, Santa Ana, Calif.; Michael W. Hill, Kansas City, Kansas; Julia A. Cosby, West Valley City; Lisa Martin, Topeka, Kansas; 28 grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; numerous friends and acquaintances.

Funeral services will be held in Topeka, Kansas, Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel, 1812 SW Van Buren Street, Topeka, Kansas 66612, Friday, June 12, 1992, 3 p.m. Interment, Mount Hope Cemetery.
