Ernest William Sorenson, 70, died June 7, 1992 in West Valley City, Utah.
Born October 18, 1921 in Lehi, Utah to Archie and Lola Reynolds Sorenson. Married Barbara Mary Brown in Salt Lake City August 29, 1944; she preceded him in death June 7, 1991. Worked for Kennecott Copper for 37 years at the Bingham Canyon Mine. Volunteer fireman for Kearns Fire Department and later for Salt Lake County Fire Department. He was an avid sportsman.Survived by son, Randy (Vickie) Sorenson, West Valley City; daughter, Dana Sorenson, Kearns; four grandchildren, Steven, Duane, Nichole and Patricia.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 11, 1992, 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State.
