Our dear wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Helen Scoville Harris, passed away at age 78 on June 5, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Attended Utah State University, and Stevens-Henager Business School.Married her eternal companion, Alton F. Harris, November 9, 1938, Salt Lake LDS Temple. They shared life together to the fullest. They enjoyed raising their two daughters, being with their family and friends, traveling, singing, gardening, bowling, golfing, playing bridge, and working for years at the Union Pacific Railroad.
Always a devoted companion, she cared for her beloved husband for the past nine years after his stroke. Her life was her family, friends and Church. She always thought of others and served Heavenly Father, holding various positions in the Colonial Hills 2nd and Cottonwood 12th Wards of the LDS Church, and serving others in quiet, meaningful ways. She loved her social groups meeting with both her Cher Amie and dinner/bridge clubs for over 50 years.
She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her example and influence will be felt for generations to come. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
