The popular Calf Creek Campground will be closed for maintenance June 12 through June 14, the Bureau of Land Management has announced.

The maintenance is the site of Escalante Volunteer Day, sponsored by the town of Escalante, KUED and the BLM. Volunteers will help clean and renovate the campground, replace interpretive markers on the trails and remove graffiti from rock walls.For more information, call 826-4291.
