An argument over Garth Brooks T-shirts landed two men in jail Saturday night about 6:30 p.m.

Phillip Beaudet told Salt Lake police officers that he was selling T-shirts about a block and a half away from the Delta Center when he was approached by DeWitt McLaurine. McLaurine, who is employed by the Garth Brooks' organization, asked if Beaudet was selling T-shirts, the police report said. When Beaudet said yes, McLaurine asked how much. Beaudet told him they were $10 each, and McLaurine grabbed a duffle bag containing the shirts and said, "I'll take those," the report said. A fight ensued between the pair, and two other employees of the Brooks' organization joined the fight.

Beaudet was hit in the face and threatened with a brick, the report said. McLaurine was arrested for assault, and Beaudet was arrested for not having a business license. Both men were released on bail later that night.
