Our beloved Patricia Cole Weeks, age 68, died August 27, 1992, at her home in Woods Cross, Utah, from causes related to her lengthy, valiant battle with Alzheimers disease.

She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on March 17, 1924 to William Greg and Ora Rae Davis Cole. She married Willard Benjamin Weeks, Dec. 30, 1943, in San Diego, California; they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1948.She was an accomplished bookkeeper, working for various banks and businesses in her lifetime. Her primary career, however, was that of a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, friend, and good neighbor. She has been an active member of the LDS church since her baptism in 1948, serving in many positions. She was an example of charity personified.

She loved her husband "Benny" with all her heart; he, in turn, was completely devoted to her. Truly they were an example of unity and "oneness." She was a Good Samaritan, a good listener, and was always interested in the other person. All those who knew her feel blessed because of her righteousness and willingness to give of herself in every way.

She is survived by her husband, Ben; daughter, Lynda Rae Weeks Silva, and her husband Greg; four grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Alicia, and Emily Silva, all of Woods Cross; brother, Fred W. Cole, North Salt Lake; many sisters- and brothers-in-law; countless loved ones and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers.

Funeral services will held Monday, August 31, 1992 at 11 a.m. in the Woods Cross 2nd Ward Chapel, 790 West 1500 South. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, and Monday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment, Lakeview Cemetery.
