Recently, I attended a "Concert in the Park" at Liberty Park.
This beautiful park is one of the oldest and most well-maintained parks in Salt Lake City. However, I was appalled at the poor maintenance of the Chase home. It is a focal point in the park, but obviously, it has not been painted for many years. Those who frequent the park often may be used to the rundown condition of the building, but consider the bad impression this neglect makes on the visitors of our city.
Can't something be done to improve and preserve this historic building?
