Dancers in Greek costumes wait to perform at Salt Lake City's 18th annual Greek Festival. A businessmen's lunch Friday launched the festival at the Hellenic Memorial Cultural Center next to the Holy Trinity Cathedral. Festivities today run from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. Folk dancers or the Byzantine Choir will perform every hour on the hour beginning at 1 p.m. After 8:30 p.m. the public is invited to join in folk dancing. Other events include cooking demonstrations, a children's midway and tours of the cathedral. Visitors can choose from a plethora of traditional Greek food. Admission is $2 for adults, $1 for senior citizens and free for children under 6.
