Nordstrom is expanding and remodeling the main floor of its downtown store at Crossroads Plaza.
The department store has expanded into an additional 7,000 square feet of space formerly occupied by Lerner's near its southwest mall entrance. Lerner's has moved to Crossroads' third level.Nordstrom spokeswoman Cindy Richards said the store's Brass Rail young men's department will be moved into the new space, which features 16 television monitors playing music videos produced by the store. An espresso bar has also been added.
Other departments on the store's main level will be changed around as part of renovation that includes new fixtures, carpeting and display cases.
