Melvin Boswell, age 94, passed away September 11, 1992 in Salt Lake City.
He was born February 22, 1898 in Nephi, Utah to Sylvester Hambelton and Fannie Rosella Rowley Boswell. He married Catherine Hunsaker, September 20, 1922 in the Logan Temple. Melvin was very active in the LDS Church. He was a home teacher for most of his lie, and was a High Priest. He had alot of love for his family.
Survived by his wife, Catherine, son: Ervin Bowell, Mesa, Arizona; threedaughters: Dorothy Shark, Mesa, Arizona; Elaine Bangerter, Roy, Utah; Doris Sawaya, Holladay; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren. He was the last survivor of six children.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 1992, 11 a.m. in the Rose Park 2nd Ward, 1153 West 800 North. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 South 200 East and Tuesday at the ward 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
