Delmar R. Parkinson, 86, passed away September 10, 1992 in Beaver, Utah.
He was born May 31, 1906 in Beaver, Utah to Ruben and Zina Brown Parkinson. He married Verda Limb June 9, 1932 in the St. George LDS Temple. A High Priest in the LDS Church, he served a stake mission, and in many other positions. He dearly loved his grandchildren and children in general.He is survived by his wife of Beaver; daughters, Revola Branch of Salt Lake City; Reva and Dale Gates of West Valley; Ardella and Bill Ady of Seattle, Wash.; Sharon and Maurice LeFever of Seattle, Wash.; Trena and Gary Walker of Beaver; Mary and Keith Koziba of Las Vegas, Nev.; sons, Vernel L. and Yvonne of Salt Lake City; Eugene and June of Alamo, Nev.; Gerald and Virginia of Kenst, Wash.; and Keith and Karen of Edmonds, Wash.; 34 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, and three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 14, 1992, in the Beaver LDS 4th Ward Chapel. Friends may call Sunday, September 13, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Olpin Mortuary, and Monday, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in Beaver, under direction of Olpin Mortuary.
