PIONEER HOSPITAL COURSE TEACHES BABY SITTERS THE STEPS TO TAKE WHEN EMERGENCIES OCCUR

Pioneer Valley Hospital will offer "Safe Sitter," an instruction series that teaches children to handle emergencies when caring for younger children, Friday, Sept. 25 and Saturday, Sept. 26.

Classes will be at the hospital, 4155 W. 3460 South, and will feature basic life-saving techniques, safety precautions to prevent accidents, how to summon help and tips on basic child care.Preregistration is required, and a fee of $15 will be charged to cover the two-day course and the instruction booklet.
