VIEWS ON KIDS' ISSUES WILL BE DISCUSSED

The views of the presidential candidates on children's issues will be discussed during a satellite teleconference on child health, education, safety and security Thursday, Sept. 24.

The Utah Coalition of America's Children will host a satellite broadcast at Primary Children's Medical Center from noon to 1:30 p.m. At 1:30 p.m., Bruce Hough, representing the Bush-Quayle campaign in Utah, and Scott Matheson Jr., representing the Clinton-Gore state campaign, will answer questions about how their candidates' positions may affect the 627,000 children in Utah.The public is invited to attend the teleconference, which is being sponsored by 12 local organizations.
