Rosamond Palmer Maxfield, age 88, died September 12, 1992 in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born April 27, 1904 in South Jordan, Utah to Joseph Fred and Birdie Lucene Beckstead Palmer. She married Louis E. O. Maxfield September 12, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away on their 69th Wedding Anniversary.She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she was a visiting teacher and a temple worker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an organist since she was 12-years-old and fostered a great love for music all of her life. She was an active member of a family dance band with her brothers, and children. She and her husband served five short term missions as guides in the Historic John Johnson Home in Hiram, Ohio.

Survived by her husband; four sons and two daughters, Gerald J., Orem; Calvin L., Union; Clark E., Hooper; Rodney E., Woodland; JaNeal Boggess, Sandy; Cheryl Peters, Woods Cross; 27 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one brother, Ross Palmer; four sisters, Della Workman, Vida Hutchings; Birdie Crane, all of South Jordan; Myrle Burton, Nauvoo, Illinois. Preceded in death by three brothers, Lee, Elmer, and Don; daughter-in-law, Arlene Maxfield.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., Taylorsville 15th Ward, 1457 West Atherton Drive (4340 So. 1424 W.). Friends may call Tuesday, 7-9 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Wednesday, at the church, 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment, South Jordan City Cemetery.
