Teresa Sovada Jarrett, 52, passed away September 12, 1992 at her home in Salt Lake City, after a long illness.
Born December 27, 1939 in Salida, Colorado to Porfirio and Adeline Rivera. Married Rodger Jarrett February 26, 1966 in Salt Lake city. She was educated at Salida High School and the University of Utah. She retired from USWest in 1986 to enjoy her other interests, raising her son, homemaking, golf, yard work, boating, camping and family. She was a member of the LDS Church.She was a compassionate loving lady.
Survived by her husband, Rodger, and son, Jeffery of Salt Lake City; brothers and sisters, Leonard and wife Kathy Rivera of Salt Lake City Jerry Rivera of Denver, Colo.; Arthur and wife Martha Lucero of Monument, Colo; Margaret and husband Nicholas Rodrequez of Grand Junction, Colo; Stella and husband Ted Beauchamp of Anaheim, Calif.; Elizabeth and husband Pat Reyes of Denver, colo.; Arthella and husband Frank Lindsay of Tooele. Preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Joe Rivera, and sister, Caroline Sinclair.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 17, 1992, in the Brighton 5th LDS Ward, 2525 East 7600 South. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East 7600 South, and at the church from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Burial, Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah, at 4 p.m. Funeral directors, Anderson Funeral Home.
