MidvaleAt a recent meeting, the City Council:

- Named the firm of Hansen, Steed, Bradshaw and Malmrose the city's auditor for 1992-93.

- Allowed a proposed no-parking area on Wasatch Street behind Strawberry Place, 7980 S. State, to remain a loading zone from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

- Gave its monthly residential and business beautification awards to Darlene Conti, 715 Marquette Drive, and Diversified Computers, which has renovated its quarters at 86 N. Main.


At a recent meeting, the City Council:

- Confirmed the appointment of Ray Nillson to the Board of Adjustment for a term of office that expires April 1, 1997.

- Declared as surplus a parcel of city property at 800 W. 5720 South.


At a recent meeting, the City Council:

- Approved $2.84 million in infrastructure-development bonds for the city's new "auto mall" south of 10600 South and just east of I-15. The bonds will be paid off through a special improvement district arrangement that will tap property-tax revenues from the mall.

- Annexed six-tenths of an acre at 8201 S. 270 East for a single-family residential development of 8,000-square-foot lots.
