DEATH: ESTHER SHAW PARK WOODHEAD

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away September 14, 1992, at a local nursing home of natural causes.

Born November 24, 1898, in Lancastershire, England to Thomas and Eleanor Randle Shaw. She was brought to the United States when she was three years old. The family settled in Bingham Canyon where she met Robert Park. They were married Feb. 19, 1918; he died in 1928. She later married Deloy B. Woodhead in 1933; he died in 1965. She was an excellent cook and loved having relatives in for a good meal, and enjoyed caring for her yard and flower garden. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church. Served as a visiting teacher, temple worker, and was enjoyed by members of her ward.Survived by: Son, Douglas Park and wife, Beverly, Murray; daughter, Eleanor Hatch, Bountiful; stepdaughters, Zola Crowther, Mrs. Gene (Lottie) Pugh, Mrs. Albert (Laura) Mauerman, all Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Richard Shaw, Murray; Joseph Shaw and Roy Shaw, both West Jordan; sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Ada) Haun, Sandy; Mrs. Dennis (Helen) Nelson, West Valley City. Preceded in death by son, four brothers, two sisters, one greatgrandson.

Funeral services Friday, Sept. 18, 1992, 11 a.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State, where friends may call Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Friday, one hour prior to services.

Interment, Elysian Gardens.
