DEATH: RAY NATHANIEL PORRITT

Ray Nathaniel Porritt, 92, died Wednesday, September 16, 1992, in the Box Elder County Nursing Home of causes incident to age.

He was born August 21, 1900, in Clifton, Idaho, a son of Nathaniel and Mary Susan Hattaway Porritt. He married Viola Hinman, April 26, 1924 in Ogden. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple in 1928. Mrs. Porritt died March 12, 1959.Surviving are two daughters and two sons and their spouses, Betty Lou Crozier, Jerome, Idaho; Lois and Paul D. Bone, West Valley City; Kenneth R. and Peggy Porritt, Bear River City; Steven H. and Rae Ann Porritt, Tremonton; 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchldren; one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Ellis P. Rhodes and LaRue Porritt.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 12 noon, in the Tremonton Third/Eighth Ward Chapel, 9590 No. 6800 West, with Bishop Raymond N. Hansen, officiating. Friends may call Friday 6-8 p.m. and Saturday 10:15 - 11:30 a.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton. Burial in Tremonton Riverview Cemetery.
