DEATH: ADA S. BITTON

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Ada S. Bitton, passed away September 15, 1992 of causes incident to age.

Born July 3, 1903 in South Shields, Durham, England to William and Alice Briggs Slater. Married her sweetheart,William E. Bitton, June 21, 1928 in Calgary, Canada; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mom will be remembered for her many years of service to others. A seamstress from her tender years in England, she continued to provide pattern and dress making for weddings, funerals and anyone in need of her service. She and her husband, William, owned and operated The Emporium, A Country Store, in Wellington, Utah for many years prior to their being called to served an LDS Mission in the Calgary-Alberta Mission, where William passed away. They also served a stake mission and a mission to the Navajo

mission.

Ada is survived by six children, Louvaine S. (Betty) Bitton, Stella L. and Wayne Hampton,

Edward W. (Rebecca) Bitton, Wesley B. Bitton,

Elbert M. (Maria) Bitton, Eugene A. "Tony" Bitton; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, 1992 at 2 p.m. in the Old Wellington LDS Chapel. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial: Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
